the bossa nova track. in the key of c sharp minor. written on a peniche in quai rambaud in the summer of 2007. the boat had a swimming pool and wood burning oven for making pizza. a man named claude owned it. there was never a sadder day than when i lived on that boat out of it's home, the river soane, so it could get barnacles removed from the bottom. 'devil in me' was inspired by the book "le monde de sophie", sophie's world.
